TTE has come back to WRC after a year and a half with a new-modeled machine, the Corolla World Rally Car. Comparing the machine with the Celica, its body is relatively compact but now has improved compatibility with most road and weather conditions, together with better handling. This remarkable machine features, active differential gears, hang-on clutch, and active brakes. The most unique characteristic for this model was the electronic control technology. Also, its intercooler has been updated from a partial to a complete intercooler system.
Even with these specifications the body volume has been reduced by 20kg.
