Sandro Chia, born in Florence in 1946, was already showing his work in the 70s in important individual exhibitions and soon became one of the most important artists of the Italian Transavanguardia.
He sees himself as a neoexpressionist in whose figu
rative painting the influences of Carr? de Chirico and
Picasso can be discovered.

\"Paint me, paint me!\" - these are the words the surface of the BMW called to him, said Sandro Chia on his first meeting with the prototype of a 3 Series racing touring car. So he painted, painted faces and a sea of vivid colors until the bodywork of the car was completely covered.

\"The automobile is a sought-after possession in society\", reflected Chia when he had finished his work. \"All eyes are upon it. People look closely at cars. This car reflects their gaze .\" The design of the 13th BMW Art Car was not Chia\'s first artistic adventure with an automobile: as a child, he drew graffiti on cars.

좀 색다른 느낌이지요?.... ^^;;;;

우연히 스크롤링 하다가 사진을 보고 멈칫.... 마음에 들어서 만들어 봤습니다. 여러방면으로 조사해서 자료를 긁어모으고 보니 제대로 된 실차사진은 위에 옆면도 하나밖에 구할수 없었고 나머지는 라이센스 다이케스팅 모형을 바탕으로 만들게 되었습니다.

그래서 몇안되는 자료그림을 늘리고 줄이고 잡아댕기고 비틀어서 대강대강 맞춰서 만든지라 경계선 사이의 텍스쳐가 제멋대로입니다. -0-;;;
